FIRST NOTIFICATION OF LOSS

At Optima Claims we believe FNOL is one of the most important claims administration processes. We proactively encourage customers to report incidents as soon as possible to get the help they need and to control the cost of potential third party claims against them.

REPAIR MANAGEMENT
Repairs to all types of vehicles are managed via our network of insurer and manufacturer approved repairers. All Optima Claims approved repairers provide industry standard guarantees on all work carried out for complete peace of mind.

If a vehicle is deemed uneconomical to repair, we will manage the total loss settlement process with Engineers and Insurers, to make sure a fair settlement is achieved on behalf of the vehicle owner.
REPLACEMENT VEHICLES
At Optima Claims, we understand the need to get customers back up and running and help reduce vehicle downtime throughout the claim process. Courtesy vehicles are provided on all cases where repairs are carried out by an Optima Claims approved repairer.

In the event of non-fault incidents, during vehicle downtime customers may be entitled to a like for like vehicle including cars, vans, HGV’s, coaches and other specialist vehicles. We are able to arrange the funding of vehicles on a credit hire basis, with the charges recovered from the at fault insurer.
UNINSURED LOSS RECOVERY
We have a dedicated team that can assist clients to recover uninsured losses. Our panel of legal experts assist with cases where we are encountering delays or difficulty in achieving settlement with third party insurers to reduce unnecessary delays.
CLAIM MITIGATION
We recognise claims costs can rise significantly as a result of uncontrolled third party claims. We work alongside our clients insurers to proactively assist in managing repairs and providing courtesy cars or other replacement vehicle solutions.
